FT. LAUDERDALE, FLA—April 15, 2010— Derek Fertig has been appointed Branch President/Manager of Gold Star Financial Mortgage Group’s new Ft. Lauderdale office.

The branch provides customers with a full range of mortgage services, including conventional, FHA and government loan programs.

Fertig was previously vice president and a top loan officer with Americas Mortgage Professionals and a top producer for Ace Mortgage, both in Ft. Lauderdale. The former Marine Sergeant (where he was honored as “Marine of the Quarter” for five straight quarters on his Quantico, Va.
